The Constitution of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church states that “The Congregation Council shall have general oversight of the life and activities of this congregation, and in particular its worship life, to the end that everything be done in accordance with the Word of God and the faith and practice of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.” (C12.04) and “…shall be responsible for the financial and property matters of this congregation.” (C12.05) Members of the council are elected by the confirmed members of the congregation at the annual meeting and serve three year terms.
In order to carry out our mission, we ask for input from the congregation. I encourage members of the congregation to share your thoughts, opinions, and ideas with members of the council. Council meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. All members are welcome to attend those meetings. We also ask for your prayers as we strive to carry out the business of the church. Judy Adams
